Incorrect Password Error

#1

Post by Bxsteez » Mon Oct 14, 2013 3:53 pm

I'm having the same issue that everyone else seems to be having with this app. I get password incorrect please check settings. There is no password set and my time zones and times are the same (setup via internet time). I have checked the port mapping and used the test port mapping feature and it comes back OK. I'm not sure what else to do here.

I think have about 13mins left to get a refund on the app. Can anyone help?

Can you provide some more information? What app platform are you using?

You mentioned you are using port mapping. As a starting point, if you put the device on the same network as the HTPC, does the app connect to the MMC services?

I always think this is the best "how to" for troubleshooting:

Perhaps the mods can make it a new topic and sticky it as a read first.

I'm using a Galaxy Note 3. I did find a solution to the problem. Both devices were set to the right time zone but one was set to daylight savings adjustment. Once I figured out how to get them both on the same settings and same time it worked fine.
