It would be insanely stupid if them to stop supporting it.
Gold accounts are a cash cow.
Overpriced controllers as well.
And I'd bet the profit margin on the console itself is more than 100% with the lithography having shrunk dramatically since the original 360 and the design simplified to a SoC.
