HTPC loses AverMedia Tuner after hybernation

I'm running WMC 7 Home Premium on an HP Media Center PC with an Avermedia Dual tuner card and a Hauppage media dongle. When the PC goes into hybernation, the Avermedia card does not come back up. WMC does see the Haupage dongle and does tune in programs. If I restart Windows 7, the Avermedia card does work. Has anybody got any ideas how to keep this from happening, short of keeping the PC from going into hybernation? Thanks.
