You'd be surprised how many times I've "fixed" a monitor by turning it on, or "fixed" a wifi adapter by flipping the wifi power switch on a laptop....sometimes the simplest little thing is all it takes.

Yup... I was troubleshooting a projector not producing a picture with my sister yesterday. Going through all these complicated projector menu settings and weird resolutions. Then I asked her to send me a picture of the cable she was using... it was the broken cable we already troubleshooted two weeks prior. <Facepalm>
