Disk full error
Lately Media Center will stop playing live TV and I'll get the "Disk Full" error. I have to reboot to get it working again. There is plenty of space on the recording drive. I suspect maybe the recording drive is starting to fail. Unless it's a problem with the infinitv4. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I think I had that problem before. What I did, to eliminate the error, was adjust the size of the drive in WMC. Gimme a minute, and I'll tell ya exactly where I made the adjustment.
settings/tv/recorder/recorder storage/ I don't remember which setting eliminated the error for me, but this is the page that got rid of it.

I got that once too. I have a 64 Gb system drive, and 3 Tb recording drive. Once, for some odd reason, WMC decided to record on the SSD, even though there was plenty of room on the HDD, and or course it threw "drive full" error.

Hmm.. That's a possibility. I have a really small SSD for the system drive. It's nearly full. I have an extra 120GB SSD I'll try. I took a look at HDSentinel but I don't want to buy it for one use.

I got that once recently when a WMC component decided to create a 68GB temp file on my SSD, filling it up. Wife said that her Xbox extender session quit working with disk full error. Had to download WinDirStat to find the offender, buried in one of the extender user directories, then kill the app, delete file, and reboot.

I broke down and reinstalled. It's been a couple years so I was overdue. What a pain. I used to have the reinstall process down cold. This one took forever. Nothing worked right out of the box. I think it's all set now. Hope so anyway.
