Not sure if this is a mistake or not, but it showing as a discontinued product. The external version is still available.

Were the sales a little better than expected?

Why bother to get feathers all ruffled?

Ceton still shows it as current, and Amazon has it in stock.

Click on the link at Ceton and it takes you to Newegg which says it's out of stock and discontinued and may or may not be restocked. I sent an email to Ceton to find out what's up. At least it still appears to be available at Amazon.

exactly.

I'm not bothered, surprised, or upset at whatever Newegg chooses to sell or not sell--nor do I put any specific meaning to it.

Nothing to see here. Moving on.

Why would you think that?

Ceton obviously monitors these threads.

All it would take is a statement from them that the product is/is not being discontinued.

Anything else is just conjecture.

...including the implication that "since Newegg is showing the product as discontinued" (nevermind that there's a whole lot that could be going on THERE) "something must be wrong! It must be a dead product! WE ALL MUST WRING HANDS AND CRY!"

I stand my ground: we know nothing, therefore nothing to see here. Move along.

Maybe we can change the scary title of the thread?

I Changed the Title of the thread. When I originally posted the first comment, wasn't expecting everyone to get scared & was more looking for conjecture on what it meant. For all we know maybe it was a mistake & they are sold out, or possibly they won't be selling them anymore & was supposed to say they were sold out, not a discontinued item.

No conjecture or sensationalism needed:
