MyMedia Center App update/new features?
Is an update to MMC app still expected? Last I heard was that an update to the apps will happen around/before the echo update, does this still hold true? I can think of a list of features I'd like to see added. I'd be glad to share some ideas but I think you all touched upon them at some point. ...MyMovies support and music support to name a couple.
The MyMovies app is in beta to support IP connected AVRs, that would be a great feature to see added to MMC. I love the roulette feature in the movies portion but it doesn't seem to launch my BD ISOs. I'd be glad to contact you with the holes I find in your app plus some features I'd like to see added but it seems that the app has reached the same stand still found with the echo.

Don't you know they are working hard? Well, at least that's Motz' standard response.

Yeah, that's funny. We're still waiting for the ability to stream recorded shows via the app. How long ago was that promise made?richard1980 wrote:Don't you know they are working hard? Well, at least that's Motz' standard response.

I'm still waiting for a bug fix that was supposed to happen 2 months ago.

Promise is always a very strong term I can promise you something when it is in certification or I have completed code. Being worked on sure, a feature we want to add yes.
The next updates will be bug fixes and extender renaming on the other OSes. Anything small or quick wins for things you guys want I can add them in when I work on those other features. That is what I have been doing mostly with the Android stuff. The reason Android gets done so fast is that it is the fastest certification process and just really easy to push out new updates to test on.
Shackleford which bug are you talking about? Screensaver stuff?

Is MyMovies support still coming? I would imagine it being supported when they TV Series "coming soon" is completed.
I tried adding one test movie but it never showed up so gave up with it all together for now.
I'm going to let MyMovies continue creating the .nfo files for XBMC in the future.
Don't get me wrong, MyMediaCenter is great for adding new recordings etc, but I don't use it all for the Movies part yet. (waiting to see it mature)

My big push over Sept will be to:
Win 8 with bug fixes + extender renaming
iOS - Extender renaming
WP- Extender renaming
I can't guarantee if/when they will get done, but my hope is I will be crunching in a few weekends to get it done. I will try to give some feedback as to where development is at with those.
