WMC Crash - Cannot restart via remote control

On rare occasion, my 7mc ehshell.exe will crash and I'm presented with a dialogue asking if I want to restart. Unfortunately I cannot use the remote control to answer the restart question. Is there an option somewhere to either automatically restart the crashed app, or to just kill the app without the dialogue, so I can press the green button on my remote to restart it? I hate having to go dig out my keyboard to answer that darn question.
