Could this be the future? I see a music pivot and a videos tile, can't read the rest.

I saw the xbox live coming as well and my first thought was maybe through xbox live you could turn the pc into a extender? Is xbox live in the preview that they released?

While the community has been begging for the ability to use a PC as an extender for years, the reality is such a move would be bad for Microsoft's business. By not allowing PCs to act as extenders, they force you to buy an extender, which puts more money in Microsoft's pocket (assuming you buy an Xbox 360). The reality sucks, but Microsoft isn't in business to make you or me happy. They are in business to get you and me to hand over our money.

Surely microsoft get OS monies in for extender PC's ? Weren't there loads of rumours about Xboxes being sold at a loss to get u into Xbox live?? The OS can't be a loss maker surely and if you're linked in to XBox live i'm sure it'll be harder to circumvent the OS registration security.....
