Wonky recordings - cut off, weird times, etc!

over the last week I've had a couple recordings go weird on my. A 30 minute show went 36 minutes, but shows that it went from 8-8:30 or whatever. Then Hell's Kitchen, a two hour show, split up into two parts: 8 to 8:36 (again with the description showing an ending time of 8:30) and a second part 8:55 to 10:00.

I have no idea where these times and splits came from. I know for a fact I was just sitting there watching Netflix during those times, and nothing untoward happened with the computer. Has anyone else experienced this, especially lately? Any insight would be welcome. Thanks.
