A few MakeMKV questions

Just getting going with MakeMKV and it's working out great for me (although I did rip like 5 movies before I realized I needed to turn off the subtitles if I didn't want them).

I have some questions on what I'm seeing here:



This is seemingly 2 identical titles on a Matrix DVD. How do I know what is what & which one I want to rip?

Also regarding the audio: what's the difference between DD 3/2+1 English and DD2/0 English?

Thanks for any pointers you can give.

I always take the first video (if the size is about right) but I don't think it matters. The numbers after DD are the audio channels. 2/0 is only two channels so it is probably commentary in the extras.

I wondered that about the audio channels. Also wondered if 3/2+1 was equal to 5.1 surround.

Anybody know for sure?

I always use the 1st title as well. Yes, 3/2+1 is Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound.
