Hi,
I already know of the Sound Blaster ZxR sound card which has RCA jacks but this is a twin-card non-low-profile solution and it would make my case search much easier if anyone can tell me a low profile sound card with RCA jacks ? I am not at all keen on external boxes etc so would not be interested in an external USB (or whatever) connected solution.

You don't need a sound card with RCA jacks. All you need is a sound card with regular 3.5mm jacks (I can't say that I've ever seen one without those jacks) and a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable.
