If I know the name of a show that is not yet in the guide, or the name of a movie I want to record that could show up at any time in the future can I somehow set that up as a recording?
I used to use ReplayTV and this was a feature I used a lot.
Thanks
Anyway to record a show not yet in the guide?

Keyword. No problem. Just like ReplayTV.
While in your Recorded TV screen, scroll up up up up up to Add Recording. Poke around.
You can also add it by date and time, like a VCR.

Yep, I use "Wish list" recordings for lots of stuff. When I read about a new show that will be coming at some time in the future (more than 2 weeks), I simply add the show title to be recorded.

And here I am living like a caveman making reminders/notes on my phone to make the scheduled recordings around when it should be loaded in my guide (about 2 weeks worth irrc).

Better late than never to thank you all. I asked this last time I wanted to record something and today I wanted to again and thought 'you know I already asked this' I bet those smart chaps already answered.
