Videos not loading in video library
Hi I'm having a problem with my WMC8. When I browse folders in my Video Library the blue circle just keeps turning and nothing loads, thumbnails wont load if I see files, and most folders appear empty even though I know they have videos.
I thought this may be a codec issue, but I updated to latest shark007 w8 codecs and the issue is still here. I remember having this issue years ago and I'm sure guys on here helped me solve it but I cant remember what I did.
Thanks in advance.

Most likely you need to install the x64Components addon too.

My next thought is to open the 64bit Settings Application,
press [Reset All] and then select the [x] SUGGESTED settings checkbox

It may not have anything to do with your codecs.

One other thing that can cause strange issues is choosing to lower the UAC setting. If this is you I suggest you uninstall the codecs, set UAC to the 'Default' setting, reboot and re-install the codecs selecting the suggested settings after re-installation.

I tries this just now and still no joy, one thing I did notice was that the problem went once I uninstalled. I'd prefer to continue using your codec pack so do you have any ideas what it may be? obviously if I cant find a solution then I may have to find an alternative.Shark007 wrote:One other thing that can cause strange issues is choosing to lower the UAC setting.
