Is Ceton really ceding remote live TV on win8 tablets to SD?

Is it really true that Ceton is not planning on providing any networking support for it's Tuners in Windows 8? (Even for a Win 8 client)?... A killer feature of the network tuner is live TV on tablets/laptops.... And with no win 8 support for this use case.... Really would like to avoid having to trade in one of my Infinitv tuners for the HD home run to get this feature back.

to be fair, you're in the middle of a large group of people here very few of whom watch live TV. It's all about recording it and watching what we want, when we want, where we want. Overall, very few people here bother with planning their lives around the pinheads at the networks and their idea of a schedule.

Yeah, if you watch sports, live TV is a must. Shame the WMC sports apps keeps crapping out all the time :(

We decided to try the "Apple" "Look! New Shinny! And you can buy it today!" approach this time :D

Partly why I mostly avoided the 6-tuner speculation thread the last few months.

Heh.... well you had me worried... :). but yeah the solution is nearly perfect for my setup and devices.... Now it would be nice to compliment it with a similar Ethernet based ATSC tuner.
