Will WMC MCard Menu Work Without Internet

Hello

I currently have windows 7 64 bit, a ceton Infinitv 4 and a couple of echos and I am about to activate my mcard though comcast or verizon. This is a separate network from my internet and I dont plan on hooking this to the internet.

My question is, will i be able to view the shows through my cable provider without this box being hooked up to the internet. In other words, does the program guide/menu come from the cable or the internet.

Also is there anything else I may lose by not having it on the internet?

Guide updates/movie guide info/metadata come from the internet. Also I assume you know Netflix will be a no-go without internet. You also lose any WMC updates from Microsoft.

The M-Card activation will work without the Internet, however as others have mentioned, you won't get guide data. Also the Echo won't get software updates without Internet access.
