Guide updates and channel names?

Guide updates and channel names?
What triggers the guide to change the channel name associated with a channel? I am asking because VSHD changed to NBC Sports Network over a year ago but still shows up in WMC as 'VSHD'. The zap2it guide for my area shows the channel as NBCSprtsHD, but WMC still shows it as VSHD. Should it automatically pick up this change?

Might try scanning for additional channels in media center but I don't know
if that would update the guide.
You can change it manually at settings/TV/edit guide/,
select the channel in the list and click edit listings.
Then scroll down to the one you want and select it and save the settings.
