Password Error
I keep getting the "Password incorrect" error and can't figure out why. I fixed the time zone issue in Windows and I tried disabling my norton 360 firewall. I'm not running any other software in the background. This is a first time setup.

Are you getting a password error with no password set (the default setting)?

I've tried both with and without a password.foxwood wrote:Are you getting a password error with no password set (the default setting)?

It is most likely not a password issue, it is more of a connection issue.
1.) On your HTPC open up a browser and type in http://<ipofpc>:5832 (replacing <ipofpc> with the actual IP that shows up in the app)
2.) Do the same on your phone
-->In both instances you should see a message that says "nothing to see here move along"
3.) If you do then this is good and it is mostly a time issue. Ensure that BOTH phone and PC have the same time and time zones
4.) If you don't see these than either Norton is blocking or something else is going on. let me know and we can continue.
Some additional info would be good.
1.) What version of Windows are you running?
2.) What type of device is My Media Center App running on?
3.) How many Network Adapters are on your PC (if you have multiple or wifi + ethernet there might be different IPs)
4.) Are there any other services running on your PC that you set the port to the same number? such as remote potato?
