It looks like March 18, 2013 is the date when Chicago WSL/ABC7 will stop broadcasting on VHF 7 & only be using UHF 44 frequency. They have been using both freqs for a few years & I get both.
But which channel should WMC7 use for the guide listings? In Edit Channel > guide listings I can choose 7.1 or 44.1. I figured if ABC was transmitting on 44.1 then the guide should be from 44.1. But when I previously tried that the guide displayed data from virtual channel 44.1, which was for a different station.
So I'm guessing when you select which channel to get the guide data from that you need to choose the virtual channel, is that correct?
Or when March 18 arrives will things change & I'll need to edit the guide listings to get data from 44.1, the real broadcast channel?
