CPU Fan and Placement

#1

Post by Bee_Dee_3_Dee » Sun Mar 03, 2013 6:06 pm

When i noticed my Ceton's temps at 57 C, out of fear that it might end up over heating eventually today, i did the following:

after a 15 minuet shutdown looking through stuff to cool with. I removed a Fan like, http://www.cwc-group.com/df1206bh.html off the Heatsinc and placed it on my USB Ceton InfiniTV. it's blowing in. and resting on top. on the front half. It's very small. Its never been used/ brand new and was just collecting dust. Moves a ton of air for such a small thing. It's just a wee bit too loud. (especially while watching Braveheart.;)) I think it's perfect, for the time being.

5 minuets of live TV in Windowed mode:
T1, 37 C
T2, 37 C
T3, 37 C
T4, 37 C

15 minuets of live TV in Windowed mode:
T1, 37 C
T2, 37 C
T3, 37 C
T4, 37 C

30 minuets of live TV in Windowed mode:
T1, 37 C
T2, 37 C
T3, 37 C
T4, 37 C

:)

Suggestions?

Thanks!
