Echo Settings Plugin - firmware update check failing

#1

Post by rliepins » Sat Mar 02, 2013 2:40 pm

Hi

Being the dutiful Echo beta tester, I frequently check for updates both using the Echo itself and using the Echo Settings Plugin. I am currently on firmware 2013.211.1642 and, as of March 1st, the Echo Settings Plugin is failing the firmware check. Usually, when there are no updates, it simply says no new firmware update. Now, however, it is saying 'Failed to check for update'.

Now, when using the Echo itself to check, it says none is available, but it isn't failing. The plugin message is new.

Any clues or has anyone else experienced this? Could this be a plugin failure or is something up with the echo update site?
