Firmware update troubles and more

#1

Post by ShakaNV » Mon Jan 28, 2013 2:20 am

Recently I've been having tons of errors, no tv signal when there is, tuners not found, tuners are disconnected ect.. So I figured i'd give the beta Firmware/Hardware updates thinking it couldn't be any worse. During Phase 2 it generated an Error: Operation has timed out. Now it's just sitting putting the ..................................................... across the bottom of the Utility Box for over an hour. Wtf am I supposed to do? It says to not turn off the system, I also cant exit the utility.

Current System:

Ivy Bridge i5-T Model
Gigabyte z77x-ud5h Motherboard
16gb Corsair DDR3
8x Seagate 3tb 7200RPM HD's
256gb Samsung 840 Pro SSD
Geforce GT520 Video Card
2 Ceton Infinitv 4 tuners
Lite-on Blu-ray Burner
Running fully updated Windows 8 pro
Connected to a Parasound 6 Channel THX AMP and 60 inch 1080p TV using HDMI

No takers yet huh? I don't know what to do either. Did it pull out of the nose dive yet. See any lights on the Infini's Red or Blue, Solid or Flashing? Up at the top of the page here you might want to "Open a Support ticket"

Go ahead and exit/reboot - if its gone that long, it either complete, never started, or failed - either way you should be safe restarting.
