ATI Cable Card Tuners Computer Not Card Ready
I am getting an error stating my computer is not cable card ready. I know this bios restriction was removed with the update to these tuners. I have the firmware on the tuners, what else do I need to do? Maybe update the computer somehow?

You need to run the Digital Cable Advisor. The icon appears in the Extras Gallery section of Windows Media Center.

LOL...my last name is Whited.
To add to the answer...run the DCA with WMC in windowed mode...a box will pop up asking for permission, and if WMC is in full-screen mode you won't ever see the pop-up.
Also, if you have an older BIOS that was CableCARD ready, it may not pull the activation key correctly. In that case, use this key:

OMG thank you so much guys. I was running Digital Tuner Diagnostics in setup, I didn't know it was in the extras. I have been sitting on duel CC tuners for about 2 months without my hbo.
