Minipiciture in lower left corner on Recorded TV screen

#1

I just noticed on my echo that when I have a show running (liveTV or recorded) and go to the Recorded TV menu on the Echo, it's doesn't so the full image like it does on the PC. What I see in the windows is the boxed section of a full screen image.

Has anyone else noticed this on the echo. Is this a bug in the echo, or just the way WMC does it with extenders.

I am 95% sure that is exactly how it is handled for recorded TV within MC on a PC. You only get the overlays on the video stream when you are using the guide/miniguide/main menu.

I think he was talking about the preview square in the lower left portion of the screen. It's supposed to show a full screen version of what is currently playing, instead it just shows the lower left portion of the full screen.

Yes my wife just noticed this today. We had a good laugh about how exciting it was to watch the Downton Abbey doorway molding while listening to people talk (personally I'd say it IS but that's another story).

Yes, I see this as well - it's a known issue and been reported.
