WMC Goes into Screen Saver

#1

Post by jasonacg » Sun Dec 30, 2012 6:35 pm

Win7/64 Media Center with Xbox360 as extender.

When starting media (tune to channel, play recorded program) through the Ceton Companion app, my devices will go into screen saver after a few minutes. On the Windows 7 box, this means that the photo album comes up on the screen, and on the Xbox360, the screen dims.

Doesn't happen all the time, and I can't establish a pattern for when it does or doesn't happen.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Jason,
We are working on it, please see this thread:

You might not see it every time because pressing any button on the remote fixes the issue. So for recorded usually the first thing you do is start skipping so you don't see it. Tuning a channel is a bit different though.
