TOSLINK speakers

Just an FYI for those who might be interested.

Audyssey makes a set of stereo speakers that are TOSLINK-enabled. http://www.audyssey.com/products/media-speakers Their site says the MSRP is $250, but I found a pair on eBay for just a little over $100 with shipping. I've also heard that woot.com has had them for about $80, but I don't know if they'll come back around again.

They're sized larger than the average computer speakers but smaller than the average bookshelf speakers. The sounds is damn good compared to what I was getting out of my display. The only gripe I have is that they turn themselves off after some time without a signal. If they'd come back on again when the signal returns it wouldn't be a problem, but as it is you have to manually turn them on again by pressing the volume button.
