I recently upgraded to W8 Pro and MC and am having an issue getting my existing PCI ATI HDTV Wonder card to setup properly. When it tries to setup Live TV it hangs at Examining TV Signals. The hardware works fine, because if remove the W8 drive I connect my W7 MCE drive, MC works perfectly. I also tried a PCI ViXS ASUS Combo 210 which I had from an HP computer and it installs, finds the channels, but won't display a channel afterward.
Am I wasting my time with these cards? (ATI HDTV Wonder & ViXS Asus Combo 210)
If not, how do I get either to work?
Not sure where to start?
