I've noticed completely wrong descriptions are on the increase as well.
Example being the 999 What's Your Emergency series on Channel 4. The new episode is shown on Monday, and then repeated on 4seven throughout the week. Except not if you look at MC where the episode description only changes to the new one on Thursday. At least it will record, but the data is still wrong.
I'm sure digiguide doesn't have this issue.

Digiguide is not perfect. I was recording setting up series for Threesome (Comedy Central HD) last night and it insisted on recording all of the repeats even though i specified New only.
descriptions are better though, i don't see the issue Mark1234 is describing

Guide data does seem to have gone a bit potty since the BBC HD channel moves.

When I had Sky I tried to series link the new episodes of The Simpsons however it would record every single episode new or not so its not just us Media Centre users with that issue. Bobbob - How are you getting Comedy Central?

Definitely something wrong since the HD channel moves. Existing Series Recordings (which have auto updated to the correct channel number) just refuse to pickup the correct showing regardless of the record settings. It would pick showings on random SD channels even though the series is set to a specific HD channel.
The only way I could get these to work was to delete the Series Recording, recreate it, and due to the Repeat flag, set it to New & Repeat, this channel only, at around this time. What a ball ache.
I'll not mention that several new series are apparently not series at all according to the guide...

Having the same issues here - how can I change from the standard epg to say the digiguide epg?
