I like how Comcast put all the HD channels into the 800's in my guide, so I'll probably merge the 200 locals into the 800 ones.
Thanks again for all the help

Yea, I would have done the same except I have to keep my wife happy - she prefers the single digit and double digit numbers lolNNate wrote:I like how Comcast put all the HD channels into the 800's in my guide, so I'll probably merge the 200 locals into the 800 ones.

For me, channels 2-99 are analog, 100-999 are SD digital (with some HD exceptions), and 1000+ are HD. I chose to eliminate all the SD CableCARD channels that had duplicate HD channels, and merge the analog ones into the digital ones (with analog being the lowest priority).
I'm an HD snob, so I rarely watch anything in SD anymore. I have so many HD channels to choose from (SDV), that I almost never need to look at the SD channels anyway. The only SD channels that I care about very much are the music channels (401-499), but since I got my network-capable AVR, I don't listen to those music channels anymore either (the AVR has 60,000+ Internet radio stations, plus Pandora and several other streaming services... so who needs more than that?).
