Magic DVD Ripper (vs. Handbrake)

I recently found Magic DVD Ripper. It seems to be able to rip "anything" (previously I was unable to rip my Cars 2 DVD).
To this point, I used AnyDVD and Handbrake.

In comparing the output, I can't make out a quality difference on my 17" laptop screen.
When I compare properties, I notice that the frame width/height is higher in handbrake, though I can customize it in Magic to match.
However, when I open the videos, they both seem to be "physically" the same size. I would expect to see the difference between 720 (assuming pixels) wide and 640 wide.

Other than that, there seem to be minor differences in the bitrate, the frame rate matches, and the audio bitrate varies drastically (351 vs 128), but again customizable. File size is slightly larger with Magic too, but not enough for me to care.

I don't care much about the audio bitrate, I used to encode all my MP3s at 128 and was fine with it.
Should I customize the frame width to match handbrake at 720? Some other number?
