Advanced start/end time choices for one-time recordings

I know that in the Series Management feature you can extend the start and end times of the series recordings. However, for a simple one-time record off of the guide, there's no option to extend the recording time...nor can you do it from the Scheduled Recordings area. Please include an advanced recording feature like MC does which lets you set or edit the starting/ending times for recordings. It's a bit of a pain with the Companion to have to record one or more following shows to ensure that a sports event is "covered".

Aaaaaand of course I'm fine waiting for that if you're hard at work on the media streaming to Android.
