Flickering line is driving me crazy . . .

BTW, erkotz, while I'm mentally grumbling about my apparently defective new TV, I'd like to commend Ceton. My InfiniTV has been one of the most stable and bulletproof products I've ever used. It's quite literally a set it and forget it product. I even used your company as an object example in my marketing class. :p

Have you tried connecting a BluRay player? Does it do it while playing a movie? If not, I seriously doubt that it's your brand new Panasonic plasma.

Correct - those are for PAL areas.

WAHOAH! I had a British PAL moment there sorry. It's where I lived most of my life.

:D

No problem.

I have a Radeon 6870 in my main PC, I am going to try it out in the HTPC to see if the line is still there. I was really hoping to get away from a discrete video card, sigh.

Aaaaaaaaaaand, of course, 6870 is too long to fit in my HTPC case.

I haven't watched much TV in the last couple days but I have not seen the line . . . maybe it was a loose connection? I kind of doubt because I was plugging/unplugging HDMI cables the whole time, but there it is, LOL.

Nope, it was still there. LOL are you tired of updates yet? I installed a 6570 and said to heck with it. Problem solved.

Just get a dremel and cut it to fit (I kid! Though we did have a customer that did this to our card, and RMA'd it (without telling us) when it didn't work. Twice.)
