DirecTV H25 and IP Control?

#1

Does anyone know if it is possible to have IP control on the H25 boxes? I just got setup today and they gave me H25 boxes which do not have ethernet ports. I am also checking out their H34 box but so far I am really hating the entire interface. Not very pretty and overly complicated where as Media Center is just sexy and simple.

The H25's require the DECA adapters as far as I know. Thell them to swap them for the H24's.

That's right. I forgot about that. I do have that setup so I should be alright then. I think I remember reading you have to set the IPs static on them, so I will have to play around with it. I still need to get an Colossus so but I do have somewhat of a concern if they start encrypting the HDMI on the H25. It is my understanding that only HBO enforces this, which I don't watch anyway.
