So I had a question...
If I do the in-place Windows Anytime Upgrade and go from Windows Home Premium to Windows Ultimate will it destroy the ability to play back the files I recorded with the Home Premium version?

Shouldn't. All the upgrade will do is unlock features within Windows. The features are already there and in place, just not visible.d
