Error importing MXF due to code 7030

#1

Post by johngray » Thu Oct 19, 2023 11:53 pm

Hi,

I am getting a whole bunch of errors in my log files similar to this:
Requests for MD5 schedule entries of station 31631 returned error code 7030 , message: You have requested a schedule which is not in any of your configured lineups.
This results in a "Warning" importing MXF file, due to the errors, and a yellow bang icon in the system tray app.

I have tried rebuilding MC databases, resetting my lineups in the configuration and client apps, using the "garbage cleanup" task you suggested in another recent thread, and rerunning the Save and Execute commands several times, and still get the error.

Can someone give me a pointer on what to try next, short of full delete and re-setup?

thanks
john

Don't do any of that. I'll have to verify, but by your description it is a problem with the lineup from SD.

I will need to know what your lineup is for me to check.

Here's the lineup.
[10/19/2023 1:17:38 PM] [ INFO] Successfully retrieved the station mapping for lineup USA-WA62449-X. (625 stations; 892 channels)

(unfortunately i've already done all those things, but i'll stop trying anything else until I hear from you).

Let me know if you need any log files or other info.

Thanks!

This is a problem with SD. The problem station is NTVA (NTV America (HTB)). If you unselect that station from download (it is Russian), the warning will go away. To get it corrected, you will need to submit a ticket with Schedules Direct.

Hi Gary,

thanks for this info. I'm not sure it's just one station. There are about 380 different error rows in the log file, each with a different station number. A few more examples, it's not worth pasting all 380. How do I let SD know given that there are a lot more than just one or two specific stations?

Wow. Sign in to Schedules Direct, there will be a link to 'Report Lineup Problems'. Select your lineup in the list and describe the problem. Specifically provide some examples like you just did and that you are using EPG123. If rkulagow needs some more info or assistance, he will probably contact me.

The upstream provider Gracenote has been changing some ways they do things concerning lineups... I wonder if this is related.

Update: Schedules Direct (Robert) responded to the ticket earlier tonight and was able to fix it on the SD end, at least there are no more warnings or error lines in the log file. It will load into MCE's databases later tonight.

You guys both gave excellent customer service today/tonight. Amazing! Thank you!
