Kasperksy Premium Deleting EPG123 as a Trogan

All,

I just upgrade my antivirus from Kaspersky Security Cloud to Kaspersky Premium. As soon as this happened, the antivirus is picking up EPG123 as a "Malicious object detected" and "Detected: PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic". It then said "Process terminated", "Backup copy created PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic Trojan High Exactly epg123_gui.exe" and "Object deleted epg123_gui".

I tried to reload the program and Microsoft Defender also did not want to let me load the "unrecognized app".

I have opened a ticket with Kaspersky and will update this as I get more information.

UPDATE:
Kaspersky tech support sent an email showing how to add a exclusion for the epg123 folder... that has allowed EPG123 to be reinstalled and not be deleted by Kaspersky. I don't like exclusions to my antivirus but I also want my TV schedule updated.

Glad you got it sorted. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using exclusions. It is simply a way to bypass false positives.
