XBox 360 Extender Loses Connection

#1

I have a strange issue that I can't find a a solution to.

I have 2 xbox 360s being used as extenders. Occasionally, when I power off one xbox 360 while using it as an extender, the other xbox 360 will immediately lose it's connection to windows media center and I have to then reconnect.

There are no errors in the logs anywhere.

Any ideas?

Anyone else have this happen as well?

I have an Xbox that frequently loses connection. I've changed both ends of the cat6 so far. Gonna change the patch cables next. Other than that I have no idea.

I don't use XBoxes for extenders, but I have read something about the need to exit extender mode (or maybe it was just stop playback) before you power off the XBox. Have you tried that?
