I checked the EPG123 config GUI and it was listed there and had a check mark.
I then checked the EPG123 Client and it was not listed in the left side panel, but was in the right side panel.
When I attempted to link the channel on the right and left side, I noticed that the channel number was missing from the left side all together.
I pressed the "Undelete Scanned Channels" button and not only saw this channel, but saw it also listed 14 other channels.
I was able to "undelete" them all and link the guide listings to the one channel that I had initially noticed was missing.
I also noticed the following in the EPG123 log (all lines found that were referencing channel 612):
Code: Select all
[8/2/2022 12:09:03 AM] [ INFO] Channel 612 BNC was removed from lineup EPG123 Verizon Fios Freehold - Digital (Freehold).
[8/13/2022 7:51:00 PM] [ INFO] Channel 612 GRIOTV was removed from lineup EPG123 Verizon Fios Freehold - Digital (Freehold).
[8/21/2022 4:11:06 PM] [ INFO] Matching GRIOHD to channel 612
It also appears that EPG123 tried to match the new network GRIOHD to the channel, but it failed (apparently due to the channel having been deleted).
Since I only use a CableCard device, I would not think that channels would be deleted since when EPG123 is first set up, it adds 9999 channels even if they are not assigned to a network listing. I assumed that having all 9999 channels available was required so that EPG123 could assign listings to them in the future.
So I guess my questions are:
- Is it normal behavior for channels to be deleted from WMC like this (rather than just having the listings removed and the channel disabled when the channel is no longer in the lineup)?
- If it is normal, is it possible to have EPG123 add the channel back when it notices that it has new listings and a network that should be assigned to that "missing" channel?
