(My Old Win7 PC: 2.7gb CPU, 4gb RAM, AMD 5450 video card w/1gb video RAM,
Windows Media Center 8.9.0 64-bit, external Antenna with 75ohm cable)
If I plug the KWorld UB435-Q USB stick into my old Win7 PC, WMC plays & records fine.
If I install a fresh copy of Windows 10 on this PC, WMC acts like it is barely able to keep the video & audio going strong;
it sometimes stutters once every minute or so but not usually.
When I record something it stutters too much to be of any use.
If I run a game, a real old game, or Google Chrome etc with WMC running, withing seconds the TV starts stuttering hooribly;
to the point that you cannot watch it.

(My Current Win10 PC: GIGABYTE B365M DS3H Motherboard, Intel Core i3-9100F Coffee Lake 3.6 GHz CPU, 16GB RAM,
MSI "Nvidia" GeForce GTX 1650 w/4GB Memory, One 4K TV hdmi & one old 1400x1050 monitor with vga connector.)

If I run a newer game, an old game, or Google Chrome etc with WMC running, I get the same crummy performance as on my old PC!

This is NOT a signal problem, I have 68 channels to choose from that work fine on my other PC (using the same 75ohm cable) and on my smart TV's.
I've tried everything I can think of, clean WIndows 10 install, tried USB 2 & 3 ports, unplugging my USB hard drive, using only one CPU core,
tried 3 different KWorld drivers (two made for Windows 7,8,10 & one for Windows XP,7,8).
Does anyone know how I might fix this??

I have four of these in my "junk" drawer. I keep them because they would work if I needed to temporarily replace one of my Hauppauge WinTV-dualHDs. I started phasing out the KWorld tuners because they're "sometimes" awesome but they're also equally flaky.swallis7 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 11:21 pmKWorld UB435-Q USB stick

My Hauppauges have been flawless for years. Maybe it's time to upgrade?
