folks. I'm trying to run media center under windows 7 under parallels.
Seems to operate ok until playing a recorded program.... At the point where I try to play somehing I get no error but no window opens and nothing plays.
Anyone else tried to do this?

Getting video playback in a virtual environment can be tricky, because the virtual video drivers often don't fully support it. I've encountered the same on VirtualBox for Mac, but I just use it for testing and recording anyway. You could ask at a Parallels forum or support channel.
Best bet would be to fully boot your Mac into Windows, like with Boot Camp. Otherwise, you could install ServerWMC alongside WMC in Parallels, and then install Kodi in your Mac OS and connect it to ServerWMC.

ok.. Worked great on an older mac (2010 macbook pro) but just tried the same thing under a 2014 imac running under Big Sur with Parallels desktop 17 and there is no advanced settings under the graphic configuration setting.
