I've never understood this situation of multiple stations on same tuning info channel. Could someone please educate me? Thanks

If you are talking about how the epg123 client shows the tuning info, take it with a grain of salt. When WMC scans the channels, the reported subchannel is not the actual subchannel of the stream... it just uses the virtual subchannel number. In your first example, display channel 49.2 is probably UHF 26.5 but the client shows 26.2 because the virtual subchannel is 2. The real subchannel is not used/stored in WMC.
I've thought about ditching the subchannels in the tuning info for this reason, but for the most part the value is correct. It is when a transmission stream has differing primary channels that this causes an issue. Your tuner software package should show what the actual subchannel is.

Thanks for the explanation. In my case they mostly seem to start with *.1 in epg123. But *.3 in the tuner software.
I don't have a preference one way or the other on the sub channel inclusion. But for me it seem to be more inaccurate than accurate. So not of much use. Might be nice to have on hand if there was a way to get the correct actual sub channels.
