ACCN in channel 388 instead of 338

#1

Post by HBGDawg » Sat Jan 04, 2020 1:55 am

So I tried using all 4 of the Spectrum guide lineups available for my area. All 4 show ACCN on channel 338, but nothing tunes there. I manually configured channel 388 and it indeed shows the program. But EPG123 doesn't think that is the correct channel. Like I said, I tried all 4 of the Spectrum lineups in my zip code (78613). What am I doing wrong?

If the lineup says 338, but it is actually 388, submit a ticket to Schedules Direct to get it corrected.

Thanks, I submitted a ticket and got an email back saying they have fixed the lineup issue. Channel 338 is gone now, but 388 still shows as SPIKE logo with no channel lineup available. The network name shows as ACC. According the email, I was supposed to "refresh the lineup". Not sure what that means, so I deleted the lineup, re-added it. It correctly shows ACC on channel 388. I then did a Save and Execute and it imported the new channel guide. However, ACC still has a SPIKE logo and no channel listings. I check inside your logo subidrectory and it shows the correct channel logo in a file called ACC.png. What am I doing wrong?

Open the client and look at the left side channel 388 and the right side channel 388. Are they mapped (subscribed)?

No, it doesn't show as subscribed. But I dropped the lineup and re-added it. What else do I need to do to subscribe?

Gary, maybe I just don't know how your program works. I started the program called EPG123. On the right side is the channel lineup for "Charter Spectrum - Digital (Round Rock)". Channel 388 shows ACC AND IS CHECKED. Doesn't this mean it is subscribed? I then open the program called "EPG123 Client". I am completely confused about the difference between these 2 programs. In EPG123 Client, on the left side it shows the listing and it DOES NOT show subscribed next to ACC. Do I do something different in EPG123 to make it subscribed in EPG123 Client?

In the EPG123 Configuration GUI, you are setting up what lineups and what channels you are downloading from Schedules Direct. When the file created using those selections is imported into WMC, it shows on the right side of the client.

The left side of the client is the merged channels in WMC and start with your tuner channels... channels you can tune to and watch. If you subscribe a channel on the right to a channel on the left, then you are mapping the guide listings you downloaded to a channel in the guide.

Easiest thing to do is click the Match by: [# Number] button, or follow the Manual Matching procedure from the guide.
