EPG123 - no data available

I am running EPG123, 1.2.6. It was working great. Then it stopped updating. It ran out of guide data over the weekend.

I have run the install process, following the documentation line-by-line, 4 or 5 times. No errors of any kind--except that at some point it went back to only 4 tuners--I have a CETON InfiniTV 6 tuner.

After it is done the WMC guide shows "no data available" for all the channels and the schedule shows nothing scheduled even though the TransferTool looked perfect. I don't see anything in the trace.log. HELP ME -- PLEASE!

Quick fix to get guide listings:
In the client, click the [Manual Import] button and select your 'C:\epg123\output\epg123.mxf' file. Once the import is complete, click the Match by: [# Number] button which should then populate your guide.

There is no evidence in the trace.log file that you imported the mxf file as part of your task. You will have to delete your current task and create a new one with the option to 'Automatically import...' selected in the configuration GUI, or the radio button selected for 'Full Mode' in the client. Reference page 12 of the installation guide for Full Mode.

That worked. The 'Full Mode' was selected, but I deleted the task and re-added it just in case. THANKS SO MUCH.

Yes. In order to get more than 4 tuners, you'll have to do the following:

1. Open the client and click the [Tweak WMC] button and then the [Increase] button to get up to 32 tuners.
2. Close the client.
3. Open WMC and run TV Setup again to get the 6 tuners in WMC.
4. Close WMC.
5. Open the client and click the Match by: [# Number] button to match the listings to the "new" channels.
6. At this point, your guide should be good but the scheduled recordings probably have not been built yet. To force it, the simplest way is to perform a [Save & Execute] from the configuration GUI to import the listings again and kick off the reindexing needed.
