Ceton InfiniTV 6 PCI weird 720p59.94 issue

#1

I have to deal with this weird compression ramping looking issue on Fox and ABC networks, the only networks broadcasting 720p 59.94. It is really irritating me...it's being encoded in Windows Media Center 7 this way...I edited a bit on FCPX expanding a few parts of the clip so you can see it better. Anyone ever see this problem before? I have Cox Cable, but the WTV file is actually encoded as 1280x720 59.94, so would not seem to be a transcoding to 60i or such.

DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!

I would look at your video card drivers/scaling settings but it going to be difficult to narrow down. What graphics are you using, any extenders, do they exhibit the same problems?

Cw, this is not a graphics card issue, does it on both integrated and any discrete card I throw at it...but keep in mind, the Youtube video is not taken on the screen, but the actual encoded Media Center WTC file.

So I follow what your saying, since it isn't the video then it is the source. Good luck with Cox tech support...

Maybe I will try Ceton support...could it really be any worse than Cox support? :)
