DVB Link 4.0 vs DVB Link 3

Does anyone here use DVB Link 4.0?

I downloaded the preview and tried installing it and although it scanned my DVB-S2 tuner and added the channels in the DVBLink Configuration web page, Media Center didn't see the DVB Link Tuners. I gave up with a lack of time and patients but was going to check again if I made some error in the setup.

I did find the configuration quite buggy.

You have to completly re-do TV setup in media center and then go to add ons and do a synchronisation from there.

Yeah tried that but all it found was the original tuner.
I did read that DVB Link needs complete control over the tuner but I'm unsure how to remove it from Media Center.

I did try the DVB Link W7P App and although it saw the channel list it didn't display the selected channel, can't remember the error.

i still have no idea why anyone would pay for an upgrade to v4. v3 still rocks and the only benefit given so far is that channel changes are quicker with 4. which is all irrelevant if you don't watch live tv. long live v3!!!

I just upgraded to v4.1.1 I have it working with my DVB-T Dual Tuner in my WHS machine. The setup in the new web UI was a bit of a nightmare, I couldn't use IE and had to use Firefox for all the buttons to work.
