WMC in win7 with HDHR PRIME

So I had a win7 setup with HDHR PRIME, WMC, protected channels working, everything FLAWLESS. worked for almost a year

Recently, I had to wipe out that pc, and rebuild it. I rebuilt it the same way, latest win7 updates, and latest hdhomerun drivers. ALl setup for my provider (Cablevision)

Problem I am having, is when I boot, launch WMC, try to live tv a channel (any channel), I get searching for tuners. to teh point where I have to end the task.

The only way around this, if I stop the WMC receiver service, and run resetdrm. Then when I launch WMC, everything works perfect.

UNTIL, I reboot. WHen I reboot, I have the same problem when starting a live channel. "searching for tuners", I have to end the task again, stop the WMC Receiver service, and run resetdrm. Then everything works perfect again.

Kinda of an annoying problem, never had this issue before.

Any suggestions?

have you checked all of your network sharing settings? I know thats probably not the answer your looking for but I would also go the HDHR site, and look at their WMC troubleshooting guide.

Thanks tried there. Posted the same there, lets see.

Someone suggested re-updating playready. or Restteing WMC, which I have done.
