So if you buy an iOS app and the company that made that app goes out of business, you no longer have access to that app (if you delete it from your device temporarily or move to another device)? That does suck.

I know with the Steam PC game service, that if you buy a game, even if it is removed from the store, your account will still have access to download the game again in the future.

On iOS, it feels like a ticking time bomb for all your apps, where at any time they could be removed from the store and you will be unable to re-download them on to a new device. I am currently in this situation with "Stanza" an ebook reader on iOS. It was removed from the store a while ago, and I can still use it on my iPhone, but can not download it to my new iPad. Sucks.

I believe an app can get pulled if they receive a number of negative reviews in a short period of time. I've seen people complain in the reviews about connection issues and the lack of streaming, which is asinine as the product isn't pitched to be capable of that.

The connection process could be easier as evidenced by other server/client apps but the current process is well documented and proven to be simple enough.

Thanks @STC for reaching out and thanks to whoever listened (I'm an Android user, but still...). MMC is a great app and hopefully lives a full life; it really does complete the MC experience.

Can someone in the US check their app store? It's not on the Canadian one, yet.

I'm not really getting any firm updates from Ceton to resolving or having resolved this, sorry. I don't know if it will happen.... My apologies for the false hope if it doesn't come to fruition.

Also back in the UK store. Purchased, downloaded and backed up!

I've been meaning to try it out for some time and then it went and disappeared.
