Could you explain some about these?
HDOverride="true" - flags all programs on this station to be HD
SDOverride="true" - flags all programs on this station to be SD
I'm wondering how they affect content viewing or whatnot.
Also HDHR lineup query provides an HD flag. So wondering if setting these according to the HDHR flag might be useful.
In previous version, 1.3.10.20, I noticed all channels, even unavailable channels, were set to false. Thinking now that the default is false.
Thanks

This was a real early request that may or may not have been needed. The scenario is you assign a standard definition guide listing to a high definition channel. The HDOverride would flag all the programs on that station to be HD. It doesn't change how WMC works except maybe when creating recording requests you can put HD Preferred... a poorman's method of prioritizing tuners, maybe. The SDOverride does the opposite and removes all HD flags so the guide thinks they are all SD.
Default is false for both options so what is shown in the guide is what that station provided.

Ah okay. Thanks. Probably pointless to set them.

Yah, not very useful that I've seen. If I remember correctly, there were some provider's lineups that would have both the SD channel and the HD channel assigned to the same channel number. Rather than the user curating their downloaded channels, they may have just downloaded everything and then a 50/50 chance the right listing would get assigned to the channel. I've kept it in there all this time but don't know if anyone actually uses it anymore.

I still use it.
I'm fairly certain that without it, some Freeview HD (DVB-T2) programmes don't get flagged as HD. Perhaps the EPG folk just copy-paste the SD listing.

Well there you go, the feature is useful after all. Sorry, I was limiting my thoughts on this to what I've seen for US lineups.
