Accidentally messed up all my guide data in EPG123 Client - anyway to revert?

Totally my own fault but I was trying to add listings to a new channel in the EPG Client Guide Tool and I stupidly clicked MATCH BY NUMBER on the left side. This has now destroyed by carefully compiled custom listings with custom numbering. The media center guide is now just showing completely mismatched stations, names, and numbers. I can either rebuild from scratch which is a tedious process involving hous of manual satellite transponder scans, or hopefully there is a way to revert?

If it's not possible to revert via the client, I do have daily backups of my PC .. .can anyone tell me which specific folders/files I would need to restore?
Thankyou!

Option 1: if you created a backup of your WMC database using the [Backup] button in the client after you configured all your custom numbers, call signs, and mapping, you can just use the [Restore] button to restore everything.

Option 2: manually create your own backup.
1. goto C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mcepgX-Y\backup\lineup , find the most recent file before you clicked the Match by: [# Number] button and rename it to "lineup.mxf"
2. goto C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mcepgX-Y\backup\recordings and do the same thing but rename the file to "recordings.mxf"
3. goto C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mceptX-Y\backup\subscriptions and do the same thing but rename the file to "subscriptions.mxf"
4. take those 3 files and create a zip file, name it whatever you want and save it wherever you want.
5. open the client and click the [Restore] button and select your new zip file to restore everything.

Option 3: if you want to simply restore from a system backup, then I believe you will just need to restore the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mcepgX-Y.db file. There are processes running that use that file so you may need to copy over the existing database in Safe Mode.

Gary - Thank you SO much for your amazingly quick reply! Option 3 worked perfectly and I didnt even need to use safe mode. This has saved me hours ... I've topped up your beer fund ;)
