Getting error "failed to import .mxf file"

#1

Post by proboscis » Sun Jul 05, 2020 11:30 pm

This may be similar to the other thread “failed to create .mxf file” but I’m getting “failed to import .mxf file”. I noticed the EPG123 icon was red a few days ago and just updated to the latest one, still happening. The entry in the event viewer is:

“Beginning ep123 client execution”
Error using loadmxf.exe to import new guide information. Exit code: -1
Failed to import .mxf file. Exiting.

Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks

Probably a corrupted database. What does the trace.log file say? You can view it using the [View Log] button.

Looks like your database is hosed. Open the client and click the [Rebuild WMC Database] button to build a new one.
